Natalie Klein A Summer of Change!

BODY, BODY, BODY!!!

Well, it has been a few weeks since I last updated you on my progress! It has been 13 weeks and I have LOST 28 lbs!!! Whoohoooo!!!!!!

OK, even though that is all amazing!! Body image is still a HUGE challenge. I feel like I am doing great on Jenny Craig (I even went away to throw a babyshower in NYC was not able to get my Jenny meals that weak and still took off a half of a pound!). I was so impressed when I got back. But, my biggest challenge is looking at pictures vs. how I feel.

When I walk around I feel incredible, when I look at a picture I get frustrated because I can see that I still have 30lbs to go!! Why can't I see the positive??

I really want to make sure with my children that I help create positive body images for them. There is so much that we all fight daily with out own self images, wouldn't it be amazing of we did not have to worry. We ate healthy, had a fun treat every so often and saw ourselves for the beautiful person we are! SIGHHH!!!!

Wow what a beginning!! I was psyched and raring to go after my first meeting at the Jenny Craig's Sherman Oaks office!! I felt invigorated and ready to dive into my new way of approaching life.

Let me start off by saying I thought this was going to be super easy!!! That is really how everything I have heard about Jenny Craig was supposed to be!! As a new mother of two who has taken on a new job of planning celebrity baby showers for hotmomsclub how could this not be the solution?

I came home with a completed calendar detailing the meals and snacks that my counselor helped me choose for the week. All I needed to do to move forward was to take my simple list of groceries to the grocery store. I learned quickly, that while Jenny Craig makes the meals easy and delicious, there is no way to make this happen if I do not take any time for me and responsibility for my life!


Getting to the Grocery Store with a 16.5 month old and a 3 month old during the winter is not an easy task. Picking up extra items, like veggies, fruit, non fat milk, yogurt, cheese sticks, etc. was incredibly hard. Each day I said today I will get this all organized and each day it was harder and harder. Until, finally a couple of days later I was able to prioritize and balance to get myself to the grocery store to buy all the items and plan out my meals for the week. Once I did this and got started I finally felt like I was starting to create a routine that would be easily attainable.

After my first few weeks of focusing on me ... I ate all my Jenny Craig foods, met with my consultant Stephanie, and have lost over 10 lbs.... I feel less bloated.. Plus I have began to realize that 10,000 steps a day is very reachable-especially since I'm constantly chasing children and a dog around the house:) Whoohooo!!

My goal coming up is to stay focused and work on the core values that Jenny Craig discusses; Food, Body and Mind. Next week lets talk body... I am so not happy with mine right now!!!

Wow, it is crazy to be back!! For those of you who are new.. My name is Natalie Klein and I am the Hot Products Editor and Celebrity Baby Planner for Hotmomsclub. Where do I begin? I was fortunate to have an easy pregnancy with Jules, but after two children and spending almost two years being pregnant, it is time I get my body back! And I desperatly want to get out of the pregnancy pants!! I know we all feel funny calling ourselves a HOTMOM but that is what is going to help me make it through this transformation! How to fine my inner Hotness:) It has taken a lot of years to be able to get here but I am ready!

I will  admit I have A LOT of weight to take off!! I lost 30 lbs after having the baby but I have mmmmm... more to go.. sorry can't share that yet.. I will let you know as I go along! How am I going to do this? The first thing I did was reinstate my membership at Jenny Craig. I had actually been going to Jenny Craig for a month when I found out I was pregnant with my second child. The food was really good the first time around so I am actually excited to know someone else is cooking for me this time as well!

When I stepped into Jenny Craig and met my Consultant Stephanie she was AMAZING!  A sweet warm face and energetic spirit that is truly going to help me get to my healthy place!  I hesitantly stepped on the scale and was soooo  frustrated to know how much I have to loose!  So we set some simple goals.  My first goal was to not feel bloated.. I tried not to over extend myself.  We also felt 8,000 steps a day would also be good.  So that is what I have done.  Next week I will give you the scoop on how I feel,  how much I have lost and what my next goals are!  Stay Tuned!!
