The Hot Moms Club and Pregnancy Magazine hosted a Backyard Chic, family friendly baby shower along with Betsy Russell and Adrienne Maloof-Nassif on Saturday, February 21st for Brooke and Charlie Sheen who welcomed twin boys on Saturday, March 14th — Brooke was glowing with excitement and looking beautiful in an outfit by Pea in the Pod.
At the Baby Shower – which was attended by a variety of celebrity friends including Paris Hilton, Christine Taylor with her 6-year-old daughter Ella, The Cast of Two and a Half Men including Jon Cryer with his son Charlie, Eric Dane, and baseball star Barry Bonds. Kids decorated cupcakes from Violets Cakes with baseballs and basketballs. Mixologist Natalie Bovis Nelson served up her signature non-alcoholic Preggatinis ™; for guests and Samantha Barness with her team from Kitchen Kids; had the children creating their own healthy lunches with yummy O Organics food. Sheen’s daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, especially loved making their own tacos and watching the bubble show from Bubble Mania and company LA. Another special bonus to this elaborate baby shower was the wonderful variety of scents that filled the air as the guests peruse the party smelling hints of bubble gum, licorice and chocolate provided by Scentevents .
Natalie Klein, HotMomsClub Celebrity Baby Planner said, “We could not have done this without the expertise of baby shower designer Cathy Riva,” who is a frequent guest on the Today Show and owner of Riva Events. The beautiful décor focus was on the blue and white candy filled apothecary jars.
There were plenty of other exciting activities for the kids, including manicures and airbrushed tattoos courtesy of Beverly Hills Spa Di Da Kids Spa & Salon. While older children played Nintendo Wii Mario Super Sluggers, Wii Fit, and jumped on the moon bounce. Parents indulged in hand massages and consultations with Ariel Joseph Towne The Feng Shui Guy the internationally recognized feng shui expert.
Talk about Gift Bags! The kids all left with organic bags filled with a Mo’s Nose scratch and sniff book, Mario Super Sluggers (Wii) and Munchkin and Tiny Love products worth over $100.
Adults left with ECO Tote Green Girl World gift bags filled with $1500 worth of products including, Dayna Decker Candles, Hollywood Skin Factory lotion, Manduka eKO yoga mats, Imaingo ipod cases, Vera Wang sunglasses, private yoga session from Mark Blanchard and Zoobie pets.
